About Dubai
Dubai is unlike any city on earth. In a matter of decades, this former fishing village has become a global icon of ambition — home to the world's tallest building, the world's largest shopping mall, and some of the most audacious architecture ever conceived. Yet beneath the glittering skyline, the soul of old Arabia is alive in the gold souks, dhow harbours, and winding lanes of Deira.
From the dune seas of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve to the neon-lit waterways of the Marina, Dubai is a city of constant contrast. It is a place where you can ski in the morning and swim in the warm Gulf waters by afternoon, where Michelin-starred restaurants sit beside hole-in-the-wall shawarma stands, and where traditional Emirati culture and ultra-modern life coexist in fascinating tension.
With more than 10 of our tours based here, Dubai is the natural starting point for any UAE adventure. Whether you want heart-pounding desert safaris, luxury yacht cruises, or a deep dive into the city's layered history, Dubai delivers.

Practical Information
Best Time to Visit
November – April
The winter months bring perfect weather: sunny days of 22–28°C with cool evenings. Summer (June–September) sees temperatures exceed 40°C with high humidity — outdoor activities are best avoided, though indoor attractions and hotels offer excellent value.
Getting Around
Dubai has an excellent metro (Red and Green lines), plus the Dubai Tram, water taxis (abras), and a comprehensive taxi and ride-share network. Most tours include hotel transfers. A car is useful for exploring beyond the main tourist corridors.
Traveller Tips
- 1Dress modestly in souks, mosques, and government buildings — shoulders and knees should be covered.
- 2Tap water is safe to drink but bottled water is widely preferred.
- 3The Dubai Metro does not run during Friday prayer times (approx. 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM).
- 4Tipping is not mandatory but appreciated — 10–15% is customary at restaurants.
- 5Download the Careem or Uber app — they're far more convenient than hailing taxis.
